But to his dismay, Rodolfo Txeru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Victorino Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Jerrold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Frasco in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of C.A. Caminiaga booed when Maipú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Jerrold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rodolfo Txeru came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the C.A. Caminiaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Txeru couldn't finish the play. Caminiaga fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when C.A. Caminiaga's Victorino Frasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Primitivo Bizi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The C.A. Caminiaga fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when C.A. Caminiaga's Victorino Frasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Bizi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Maipú got a freekick which was hit by Moises Abar. 54 minutes into the match, Maipú's goalkeeper Ambrosio Jerrold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Frasco. Maipú's Ambrosio Jerrold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Txeru in the 57th minute of play. Aron Iurașcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Bizi in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Txeru in the 62nd minute of play forced Maipú's goalkeeper Ambrosio Jerrold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Jerrold made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Delmar Nesto sent off a good shot on target. Delmar Nesto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 71st playminute. Delmar Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Jerrold having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, C.A. Caminiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Paz to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Maipú defense, Victorino Frasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambrosio Jerrold. The Maipú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Jerrold should have stopped the shot. Victorino Frasco struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ambrosio Jerrold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Caminiaga. Ambrosio Jerrold was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Rodolfo Txeru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Txeru really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. With a little luck, Maipú's Ambrosio Jerrold got control of the ball when Santos Paz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded C.A. Caminiaga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maipú.
