Aron Iurașcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Lamberto in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Txeru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Cutberto. Rodolfo Txeru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Humberto Cutberto was a little too slow when Rodolfo Txeru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Rodolfo Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Serafo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Humberto Cutberto was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Victorino Frasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Frasco really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Pink Floyd's Humberto Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Txeru in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Leo Tebaldo got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 23rd play minutes Rafael Lamberto shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Aron Iurașcu and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of C.A. Caminiaga booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Nesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmar Nesto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Cutberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victorino Frasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Frasco ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 played minutes C.A. Caminiaga got a freekick which was hit by Elias Lluc. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Caminiaga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Lamberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Pink Floyd's players had a chance to rest. Cecilio Salbatore tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Aron Iurașcu. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-2 in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Lamberto to make the kick off. A collision led to C.A. Caminiaga getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Fermin Semeno hit a great ball. Humberto Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Frasco in the 59th minute of play. When Pink Floyd's Rafael Lamberto in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Caminiaga's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Santos Paz notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Pink Floyd's Humberto Cutberto. Humberto Cutberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Humberto Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Victorino Frasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Cutberto. Pink Floyd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Frasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After 73 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Leo Tebaldo. In the 78th minute, Osvaldo Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Salbatore kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Rafael Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Paz came free, but Humberto Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute C.A. Caminiaga were awarded a corner. Horacio Ranolfo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on C.A. Caminiaga's corner Horacio Ranolfo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Humberto Cutberto quite easily take care of the ball. Pink Floyd's Humberto Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Txeru in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Santos Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Caminiaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Paz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Txeru struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Humberto Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Caminiaga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Frasco in the 98th minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Humberto Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pink Floyd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A. Caminiaga.
