The Cambaceres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Ignatius should have stopped the shot. In the 45thth minute of the game Tadeo Ellande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambaceres's Florentino Ignatius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureano Brais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Florentino Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Carapato AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobo Garin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Carapato AFC were awarded a corner. In the 87th minute Jonathan Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Carapato AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carapato AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
