After taking down the ball on La Guardia Imperial's corner Gregorio Artal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aşık Çavas quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Iago in the 86th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Nereo Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Santos Galo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Ildefonso Ponga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşık Çavas having to interfere. La Guardia Imperial's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
