In the 13th minute of the match Gregorio Artal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Firme skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Primitivo Dalmai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Guardia Imperial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club de MDQ the free kick. Primitivo Dalmai hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The Racing Club de MDQ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Guardia Imperial were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Sebastian Senen made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Racing Club de MDQ's Inocencio Firme got control of the ball when Herminio Benat tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 56 minutes, Cirilo Quiroga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Guardia Imperial and the Racing Club de MDQ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inocencio Firme was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Ildefonso Ponga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ildefonso Ponga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. If Santos Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Galo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eduard Lavrenev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Galo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Firme having to make a save. La Guardia Imperial's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
