With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Pavone in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Evangelista saved La Guardia Imperial from getting behind. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ferdi Sekste hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Fabricio Lizer got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Ponga in the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Galo got free with Gavino Belarmo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute La Guardia Imperial were awarded a corner. Ubaldo Cilio went to the cornerflag to take it. Ubaldo Cilio made a great header on La Guardia Imperial's corner, it was just that Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo managed to reach the ball for a save. La Guardia Imperial's Nereo Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Pavone in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Gregorio Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Pavone in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Evangelista saved La Guardia Imperial from getting behind. After 32 played minutes La Guardia Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Dalmai. In the 34th minute Metapalo FC were awarded a corner. Gaudencio Hartz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gaudencio Hartz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nereo Evangelista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in La Guardia Imperial's zone, Mariano Pavone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Evangelista came out of the goal and Mariano Pavone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Mariano Pavone notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of La Guardia Imperial's Nereo Evangelista. Nereo Evangelista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Gaudencio Hartz made the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Dalmai got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gregorio Artal. In the 52nd minute Ildefonso Ponga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Mariano Pavone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Evangelista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nereo Evangelista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldinho Hoffmann in the 69th minute. Ronaldinho Hoffmann spun around in front of the goal 70 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of La Guardia Imperial's goal. If Mariano Pavone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, Metapalo FC's Ronaldinho Hoffmann made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Evangelista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico Tagliafico kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. La Guardia Imperial's Nereo Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Pavone in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldinho Hoffmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Nereo Evangelista however easily saved by the left post.
