After 3 played minutes Los Fantasmas Jr got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Azubeli. After a rather tough play, Los Fantasmas Jr's Remigio Azubeli got a free kick in the 4th minute. Silverio Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Elias Aguilera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Los Fantasmas Jr's zone, Sebastian Senen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Monico came out of the goal and Sebastian Senen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Nesor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Firme. Racing Club de MDQ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Nesor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Flavio Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Remigio Azubeli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Fantasmas Jr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club de MDQ the free kick. The supporters of Racing Club de MDQ booed when Los Fantasmas Jr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Racing Club de MDQ got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Ibañez. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Fantasmas Jr's Luis Rosio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inocencio Firme. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. 37 minutes into the match, Racing Club de MDQ's goalkeeper Inocencio Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Brion. 39 minutes into the match, Racing Club de MDQ's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Rosio came free, but Inocencio Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Racing Club de MDQ's Inocencio Firme got control of the ball when Remigio Azubeli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Rosio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Brion in the 52nd minute of play forced Racing Club de MDQ's goalkeeper Inocencio Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Honrio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Honrio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Racing Club de MDQ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Emilio Honrio hit a great ball. Sebastian Senen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Los Fantasmas Jr got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Azubeli. Inocencio Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Flavio Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club de MDQ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Racing Club de MDQ booed when Los Fantasmas Jr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club de MDQ's Blas Lixandro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Racing Club de MDQ booed when Los Fantasmas Jr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Fantasmas Jr walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
