In the 11th minute, Ramon Venceslao sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Racing Club de MDQ's Inocencio Firme didn't even have to move. After 44 played minutes Racing Club de MDQ got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Oliverios. Inocencio Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Martxelin in the 47th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Reyes in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Firme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Reyes was the one to do the kick off. Inocencio Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Martxelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Inocencio Firme came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria's Elias Aires. But to his dismay, Elias Aires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ariel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Senen in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Martxelin got free with Inocencio Firme in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltasar Ibañez hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria's zone, Flavio Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Urbasa came out of the goal and Flavio Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sebastian Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Cosme Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoria played a much better game than Racing Club de MDQ and deserved their victory. The Racing Club de MDQ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
