The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gaudencio Hartz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Metapalo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Hartz couldn't finish the play. Racing Club de MDQ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Gaudencio Hartz scored to the left of an out of position Inocencio Firme, making the score, 1-0. Inocencio Firme was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariano Pavone showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Gaudencio Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inocencio Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Pavone in the 15th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Racing Club de MDQ's goalkeeper Inocencio Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Pavone. Mariano Pavone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Firme having to make a save. Inocencio Firme made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Mariano Pavone sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Pavone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Inocencio Firme made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Mariano Pavone put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Inocencio Firme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Pavone in the 37th minute of play forced Racing Club de MDQ's goalkeeper Inocencio Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39th play minutes Mariano Pavone shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Inocencio Firme and just under the crossbar into goal. Racing Club de MDQ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Mariano Pavone scored to the left of an out of position Inocencio Firme, making the score, 7-0. In the 45th minute, Mariano Pavone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Firme was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Hartz to make the kick off. If Gaudencio Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Gaudencio Hartz made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Firme. Racing Club de MDQ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Inocencio Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Mariano Pavone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Firme having to make a save. Inocencio Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Pavone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Sekste in the 69th minute of play forced Racing Club de MDQ's goalkeeper Inocencio Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Ferdi Sekste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes Racing Club de MDQ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pablo Marmol who took care of the corner kick. Bengt-Arne Thedin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 74 minutes, Ronaldinho Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metapalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Mariano Pavone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Firme. Racing Club de MDQ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Pavone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Pavone in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Firme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes of play, Metapalo FC's Ronaldinho Hoffmann made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Firme was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Racing Club de MDQ defense, Ronaldinho Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Firme. The Racing Club de MDQ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Firme should have stopped the shot. Inocencio Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Pavone went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Inocencio Firme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Pavone's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Ronaldinho Hoffmann took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Firme. Inocencio Firme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Metapalo FC fully deserved thier win.
