Orvar Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute Carolo Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Theodore in the 22nd minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Chorizos booed when Basavilbaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Basavilbaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Theodore in the 28th minute of the match. Hermengildo Ilazki missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Orvar Bäckström right hand side. Orvar Bäckström was a little too slow when Wilfredo Goyo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Urdin made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Urdin in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Urdin in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Henric Springfält fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Sergio Urdin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Bäckström was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Goyo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Carolo Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chorizos's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Theodore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orvar Bäckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Sergio Urdin made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Basavilbaso FC's zone, Sergio Urdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal and Sergio Urdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Carolo Theodore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, FC Chorizos's Carolo Theodore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orvar Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 73rd minute Carolo Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Chorizos's Sergio Urdin in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Urdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Romulo Azibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Springfält in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Theodore in the 97th minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that FC Chorizos were the better team. FC Chorizos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
