After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Silverio Gartzea got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Elvio Lluc was a little too slow when Feliciano Niguel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Rosario Central's Silverio Gartzea in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Esteve Innocenzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Gartzea went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Elvio Lluc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blas Henrico's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Blas Henrico in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elvio Lluc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Henrico in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Lluc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Silverio Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Innocenzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Blas Henrico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Lluc was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the game, Blas Henrico lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Elvio Lluc. Rosario Central's Elvio Lluc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. Elvio Lluc made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Blas Henrico sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Bizi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Marko during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Velez Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Marko. Elvio Lluc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blas Henrico's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Blas Henrico sped through Rosario Central's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvio Lluc. Rosario Central's Elvio Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Henrico in the 62nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Blas Henrico sped through Rosario Central's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvio Lluc. Abelardo Umea lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rosario Central! 78 minutes into the game, Velez Sport Club's Blas Henrico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Lluc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Emilio Marko was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Velez Sport Club's Emilio Marko got a free kick in the 81st minute. Feliciano Niguel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Esteve Innocenzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Bizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Innocenzio having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Velez Sport Club were victorious despite being under pressure from Rosario Central for much of the match.
