The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Hegoi got free with Ciro Quinten in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Club Atletico Falcon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emiliano Bizi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Filomeno Iigo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Feliks Zurawski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elvio Lluc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Basilio Kimetz hit a great ball. Ciro Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Bizi in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Club Atletico Falcon got a freekick which was hit by Igor Beti. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Feliks Zurawski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Lluc came out of the goal and Feliks Zurawski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Feliks Zurawski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Lluc. Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Zurawski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Falcon's Francisco Indartsu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ricardo Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Quinten having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Ciro Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Hegoi in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Elias Roano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Falcon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central the free kick. If Feliks Zurawski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Francisco Indartsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Edgar Söder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elvio Lluc, 0-3. Ciro Quinten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Bizi's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. A hard shot by Igor Beti from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Elvio Lluc's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ricardo Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Hegoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Quinten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliks Zurawski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Elvio Lluc made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goalkeeper Elvio Lluc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliks Zurawski. In the 84th minute, Abelardo Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Rosario Central's Ricardo Hegoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ricardo Hegoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Quinten having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Atletico Falcon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
