An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Martins in the 13th minute of play forced C.A. Madrid del Jujuy's goalkeeper Geronimo Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the game Lázaro Musko made a throw-in which Alberto Udalaitz played forward. Alvaro Oihan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after C.A. Madrid del Jujuy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeronimo Baldovino took the corner. Jeronimo Baldovino made a great header on Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's corner, it was just that C.A. Madrid del Jujuy's Geronimo Nayely managed to reach the ball for a save. After 19 played minutes C.A. Madrid del Jujuy got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Udalaitz. In the 22nd minute Ben Gant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerônimo Martins in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Nayely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Alberto Udalaitz with Erasmo Maidana as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 34th minute Jerônimo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. Madrid del Jujuy's Geronimo Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Martins in the 41st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Erasmo Maidana scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perfecto Mongis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner led Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Jeronimo Baldovino to fire away a dangerous shot which Geronimo Nayely despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match, Jerônimo Martins got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geronimo Nayely was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Perfecto Mongis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Maidana in the 74th minute of the match. Alvaro Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Perfecto Mongis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Nayely made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerônimo Martins in the 86th minute. C.A. Madrid del Jujuy's Geronimo Nayely proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Madrid del Jujuy from getting a goal against them.
