The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes La Palmira F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Telo. 10 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangiaterra UTD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Palmira F.C the free kick. Romulo Malvin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Salem Van De Putts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Malvin might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Mazuste. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Malvin ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Rudolfo in the 15th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Romulo Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Nicolas Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mangiaterra UTD and the La Palmira F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clemente Mazuste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Rudolfo in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Mazuste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Generoso Rudolfo sped through Mangiaterra UTD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Mazuste. A collision led to La Palmira F.C getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Isidro Millano hit a great ball. If Urbano Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Florian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Ler's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as La Palmira F.C's Generoso Rudolfo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente Mazuste. That made the score 0-8 after 72 minutes of play. Salem Van De Putts kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Romulo Malvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Generoso Rudolfo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clemente Mazuste, 0-9. Generoso Rudolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Mazuste having to make a save. In the 85th minute of the match, Generoso Rudolfo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clemente Mazuste was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Mangiaterra UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Rudolfo came free, but Clemente Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well placed Isidro Millano short distance shot in the 93rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. When the final whistle sounded La Palmira F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mangiaterra UTD.
