Generoso Rudolfo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Mateus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Rudolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Rudolfo in the 4th minute of play forced Navarro AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Mateus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Rudolfo's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Rudolfo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Mateus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes, Generoso Rudolfo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Navarro AFC's Narciso Mateus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Generoso Rudolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Isidro Brais elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Generoso Rudolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Mateus was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute La Palmira F.C were awarded a corner. Romulo Malvin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to La Palmira F.C's Elpidio Micael getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With his leg Javier Florian managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Navarro AFC's Augusto Otoniel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sebastian Caradaro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Navarro AFC's Isidro Brais got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Millano in the 41st minute of play forced Navarro AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Blanco in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half La Palmira F.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Navarro AFC's Narciso Mateus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Navarro AFC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Narciso Mateus managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when La Palmira F.C's Generoso Rudolfo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Generoso Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Palmira F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Rudolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Mateus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bernardino Telo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Palmira F.C's protests and gave Bernardino Telo a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardino Telo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, La Palmira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Otoniel came free, but Javier Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Navarro AFC's Narciso Mateus got control of the ball when Generoso Rudolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Otoniel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Florian saved La Palmira F.C from getting behind. After 65 minutes of play, Navarro AFC's Augusto Otoniel made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Florian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Javier Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Palmira F.C's Javier Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Sheppard in the 71st minute of play. Isidro Brais hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Isidro Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Palmira F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Millano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Malvin made a great header on La Palmira F.C's corner, it was just that Navarro AFC's Narciso Mateus managed to reach the ball for a save. Romulo Malvin was slow to take the kick. During this time La Palmira F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Romulo Malvin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Navarro AFC's Narciso Mateus did a great save. After having played for 94 minutes, Isidro Brais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navarro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Brais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Palmira F.C were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
