Ruben Havier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Narciso Mateus made a huge save. Ruben Havier hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Fabricio Brais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's Gonzalo Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Otoniel in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Otoniel came free, but Gonzalo Lon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's Gonzalo Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Sheppard in the 11th minute of play. Aldo Iyan charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Iyan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldo Iyan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The long shot by Nicasio Nofre in the 15th minute really tested Narciso Mateus's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Domingos Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Navarro AFC booed when C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Otoniel in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Lon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonzalo Lon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Ruben Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Havier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Mateus having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Fabricio Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Mateus made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ruben Havier sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Sheppard in the 42nd minute of play. Gonzalo Lon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Sheppard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ruben Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Mateus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Lon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Joey's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, Navarro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. Navarro AFC's Narciso Mateus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Navarro AFC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Otoniel to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza defense, Laurence Sheppard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Lon. The C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Lon should have stopped the shot. Severo Orlanda kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Augusto Otoniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Lon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Joey in the 58th minute. Gonzalo Lon made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Romulo Joey sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Navarro AFC's Augusto Otoniel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gonzalo Lon. Gonzalo Lon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Gonzalo Lon made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Romulo Joey sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's goalkeeper Gonzalo Lon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonzalo Lon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Otoniel came free, but Gonzalo Lon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fabricio Brais came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Brais couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Navarro AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
