The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mangiaterra UTD's goalkeeper Clemente Mazuste, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Navarro AFC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Mangiaterra UTD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eriberto Vedillo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eriberto Vedillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Mazuste quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Navarro AFC booed when Mangiaterra UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Senin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Otoniel took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Mazuste. Clemente Mazuste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Joey in the 16th minute of play forced Mangiaterra UTD's goalkeeper Clemente Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Augusto Otoniel succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 27th minute, Laurence Sheppard made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Mazuste. Mangiaterra UTD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Navarro AFC's Augusto Otoniel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Eriberto Vedillo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Romulo Joey came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Navarro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Joey couldn't finish the play. Augusto Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Clemente Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Augusto Otoniel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Mazuste was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After the first half Navarro AFC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Romulo Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Clemente Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mangiaterra UTD's Clemente Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Otoniel in the 54th minute of play. Narciso Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ata Oykan in the 61st minute of play. Clemente Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Navarro AFC's Laurence Sheppard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente Mazuste. That made the score 1-7 after 70 minutes of play. Clemente Mazuste was a little too slow when Augusto Otoniel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Joey got free with Clemente Mazuste in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Otoniel struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Clemente Mazuste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navarro AFC. Clemente Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Mazuste made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Laurence Sheppard sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 1-9 when Augusto Otoniel sped through Mangiaterra UTD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Mazuste. Augusto Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
