Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Luqueneta's Reynaldo Qwinton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Luqueneta got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Distiratsu. After having played for 5 minutes, Teo Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Del Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Villa Del Plata getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Antonio Estevez hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Villa Del Plata's Aureliano Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Quinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Luqueneta's Celedonio Quinto got control of the ball when Aureliano Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edelmiro Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luqueneta's Reynaldo Qwinton got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Amador Corderall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luqueneta. Celedonio Quinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Quinto came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Del Plata's Serafin Bastiaro. But to his dismay, Serafin Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 42 minutes into the match, Serafin Bastiaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celedonio Quinto, 5-0. After 46 minutes of play, Villa Del Plata's Teo Phelipe made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Quinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Phelipe was the one to do the kick off. Celedonio Quinto came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Del Plata's Jesus Osasun. But to his dismay, Jesus Osasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 55 minutes, Teo Phelipe made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Luqueneta's Celedonio Quinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Luqueneta's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Torres came free, but Celedonio Quinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Quinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Amador Corderall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teo Phelipe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Quinto was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Teo Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Quinto having to interfere. In the 69th minute Teo Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villa Del Plata's Oscar Jakes was substituted for Aureliano Torres. Fernando Omero hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Luqueneta got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Distiratsu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Jakes in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Quinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes Villa Del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Osasun. Luqueneta's Celedonio Quinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Phelipe in the 86th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Oscar Jakes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luqueneta's Celedonio Quinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Antonio Estevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Teo Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Teo Phelipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Quinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. There was no doubt that Villa Del Plata were the better team. Villa Del Plata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
