The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner ended in Per-Arne Holmgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viento Norte's Hernan Fernandez did a great save. Cecilio Marko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Sidoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Viento Norte getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Saul Figueroa hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Viento Norte's goalkeeper Hernan Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Arne Holmgren. RACING LOCURA's Haroldo Rafe got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Haroldo Rafe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernan Fernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Rafe slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. In the 28th match minute, Viento Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Larpe to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Rafe in the 31st minute of play. With an all-out effort, RACING LOCURA's Hernan Fernandez threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Haroldo Rafe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 37 played minutes Viento Norte got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Larpe. After 38 minutes, Edgard Senio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viento Norte and the RACING LOCURA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Viento Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Senio to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Viento Norte got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Sidoro. Tobias Salvator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Eyague during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anastasio Eyague hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes, RACING LOCURA's Per-Arne Holmgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RACING LOCURA reached it. In the 86th minute, Marciano Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RACING LOCURA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
