In the 13th minute Reynaldo Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Niemoj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gutemberg's Froilan Pagomari slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celedonio Quinto. That made the score 0-7 after 89 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Qwinton in the 95th minute of play forced Gutemberg's goalkeeper Iwo Niemoj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Gutemberg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Luqueneta.
