Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeronimo Errapel took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, RACING LOCURA's goalkeeper Cecilio Marko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Errapel. In the 10th minute, Augusto Procopio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 13 minutes, Bonifacio Arias made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. RACING LOCURA's Cecilio Marko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Bonifacio Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Arias in the 23rd minute of play. RACING LOCURA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Augusto Procopio scored to the left of an out of position Cecilio Marko, making the score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in RACING LOCURA's zone, Jeronimo Errapel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Marko came out of the goal and Jeronimo Errapel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, SOUTH THUNDER's Bonifacio Arias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cecilio Marko. Cecilio Marko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Procopio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cecilio Marko. That made the score 6-0 in the 42 minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Marko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The wind increased when Haroldo Rafe made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's Bonifacio Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Marko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. RACING LOCURA's Cecilio Marko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Errapel in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Arias in the 55th minute of play forced RACING LOCURA's goalkeeper Cecilio Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SOUTH THUNDER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casemiro Mønster in the 60th minute. SOUTH THUNDER's Casemiro Mønster was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cecilio Marko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the SOUTH THUNDER defense, Haroldo Rafe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Xabier. The SOUTH THUNDER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Xabier should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Marko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SOUTH THUNDER's zone, Haroldo Rafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Xabier came out of the goal and Haroldo Rafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Bonifacio Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Bonifacio Arias made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Marko. RACING LOCURA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Errapel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Marko was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th match minute, RACING LOCURA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Salvator to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Marko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Haroldo Rafe came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the RACING LOCURA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Rafe couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bonifacio Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cecilio Marko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
