Gavino Filipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Celedonio Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Vinicio Bibiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Froilan Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Distiratsu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Roberto Nastasio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Quinto having to make a save. Luqueneta's Celedonio Quinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Luqueneta from getting a goal against them. Celedonio Quinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Pagomari in the 13th minute. Celedonio Quinto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gavino Filipo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Luqueneta's Reynaldo Qwinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwo Niemoj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Filipo in the 22nd minute of play forced Luqueneta's goalkeeper Celedonio Quinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Filipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Celedonio Quinto made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Gutemberg's Vinicio Bibiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 37th minute, Gavino Filipo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Quinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Filipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Froilan Distiratsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luqueneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gutemberg the free kick. Froilan Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Filipo in the 55th minute of play forced Luqueneta's goalkeeper Celedonio Quinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Luqueneta booed when Gutemberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Luqueneta defense, Oscar Ramond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Quinto. The Luqueneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Quinto should have stopped the shot. Celedonio Quinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Filipo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Iwo Niemoj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Gavino Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Filipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Celedonio Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Quinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Pagomari in the 86th minute of play. Gavino Filipo took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Quinto. Celedonio Quinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There was no doubt that Gutemberg were the better team. Gutemberg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
