Celedonio Quinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celedonio Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Phelipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Serafin Bastiaro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Luqueneta's Celedonio Quinto did a great save. Antonio Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Quinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Phelipe went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Godfredo Gil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Del Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Geronimo Oroitz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Paulo Iyan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Quinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Teo Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Teo Phelipe put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Celedonio Quinto. Serafin Bastiaro scored 0-6 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Quinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute Paulo Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Quinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Celedonio Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Luqueneta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa Del Plata were winning 0-8.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Qwinton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luqueneta's Celedonio Quinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Phelipe in the 53rd minute of play. Celedonio Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Aureliano Torres was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Villa Del Plata's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Luqueneta booed when Villa Del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Quinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Phelipe took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Quinto. Jesus Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Omero hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Villa Del Plata's Serafin Bastiaro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle sounded Villa Del Plata left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Luqueneta.
