After 4 played minutes, Campana Gitanes Club's Israel Seber shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pablo Damario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Campana Gitanes Club reached it. Dráuzio Gaúcho hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Angel Txerran lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Florencio Innocenzio. Pablo Damario came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Campana Gitanes Club's Osvaldo Quin. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Quin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Mateo FC booed when Campana Gitanes Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Quin in the 23rd minute of play forced Mateo FC's goalkeeper Pablo Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Txerran in the 26th minute of play. Mateo FC's Wilfredo Ulizes suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Gutxi during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Ruben Gutxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Damario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Weather in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Mateo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Weather came free, but Pablo Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Campana Gitanes Club's Octavio Cordara got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jonas Innocenzio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florencio Innocenzio. Campana Gitanes Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florencio Innocenzio was a little too slow when Angel Txerran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Angel Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mateo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Txerran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Angel Txerran made the kick off in the second half. Pablo Damario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Pablo Damario made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ruben Gutxi sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Campana Gitanes Club got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Gutxi. 66 minutes into the match, Leonardo Ibon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Damario. Mateo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Ibon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 69 played minutes Mateo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Benitez. Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Txerran in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Angel Txerran made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Angel Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Txerran in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Innocenzio saved Campana Gitanes Club from getting behind. The Mateo FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Mateo FC's Angel Txerran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reynaldo Weather hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Florencio Innocenzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Txerran's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Ruben Gutxi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Eliseo Urki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florencio Innocenzio. Campana Gitanes Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mateo FC had won after a very even match.
