The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Feliberto Tancredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Omar Maraman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, Feliberto Tancredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Maraman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Los Porteños's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Fidencio came free, but Antonio Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Porteños's Antonio Criston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Los Porteños from getting a goal against them. Ovidio Lano scored 0-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Maraman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximo Urbes's late challenge caught a Los Porteños's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Urbes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Porteños booed when Gasolero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Tancredo in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Gasolero getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Agustin Fidencio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Gasolero defense, Feliberto Tancredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Maraman. The Gasolero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Maraman should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Ovidio Lano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Porteños's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gasolero the free kick. After 34 played minutes Los Porteños got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Lano. Antonio Criston made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Naelio in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Tancredo in the 37th minute of play forced Gasolero's goalkeeper Omar Maraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Raymundo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Raymundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gasolero getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Naelio got free with Antonio Criston in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Gasolero defense, Ovidio Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Maraman. The Gasolero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Maraman should have stopped the shot. After the first half Los Porteños were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Feliberto Tancredo made the kick off in the second half. Omar Maraman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lastur Rodriguez in the 52nd minute of the match. Feliberto Tancredo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Omar Maraman firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 64 minutes of play, Los Porteños's Feliberto Tancredo made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Maraman had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Lastur Rodriguez from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 87th minute, Erubiel Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Placido Montrel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Severino Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Criston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Los Porteños's Antonio Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Erauso in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Feliberto Tancredo notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Gasolero's Omar Maraman. Omar Maraman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Porteños played a much better game than Gasolero and deserved their victory. The Gasolero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
