In the 2nd match minute, Alastuey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Resto to maneuver through the defense. Lastur Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, Lastur Rodriguez lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Feliberto Jesco. 10 minutes into the game, Valentin Abad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alastuey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Porteños the free kick. The supporters of Los Porteños booed when Alastuey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Feliberto Tancredo made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Jesco. Alastuey's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ovidio Lano charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Lano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ovidio Lano hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Aquilino Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Los Porteños's Lastur Rodriguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Jesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ovidio Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Feliberto Jesco made a huge save. Los Porteños's Feliberto Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Jesco made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Melquiades Valiente sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Los Porteños were awarded a corner. Lastur Rodriguez went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Melquiades Valiente drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind Alastuey's goalkeeper. Los Porteños's Feliberto Tancredo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Feliberto Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Feliberto Jesco made a huge save. After 37th play minutes Lastur Rodriguez shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Feliberto Jesco and just under the crossbar into goal. Feliberto Jesco was a little too slow when Lastur Rodriguez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 6-0. Antonio Criston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Iago went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Iago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Jesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Feliberto Jesco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Tancredo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Feliberto Tancredo sped through Alastuey's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliberto Jesco. When Lastur Rodriguez came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Los Porteños fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lastur Rodriguez couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Feliberto Tancredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Jesco was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Feliberto Jesco came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Porteños's Lastur Rodriguez. But to his dismay, Lastur Rodriguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Lastur Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Jesco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Tancredo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Melquiades Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Jesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Los Porteños got a corner. Alastuey's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lastur Rodriguez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Feliberto Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Feliberto Jesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Los Porteños were the better team. Los Porteños's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
