After 3 played minutes BERMEJO got a freekick which was hit by Dario Oalo. 4 minutes into the match, BERMEJO's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Primo came free, but Jacinto Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jacinto Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Behe in the 11th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Primo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Panpili was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. BERMEJO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Atlanta the free kick. After 37 played minutes BERMEJO got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Dantel. With his leg Jacinto Panpili managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when C. A. But to his dismay, Teodoro Primo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A. Atlanta's Teodoro Primo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Panpili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 minutes BERMEJO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Rio who took care of the corner kick. Atlanta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
