Cartón y justicia's Tomás Benvido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cartón y justicia from getting a goal against them. Tomás Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Marcos Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Meder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Caradaro made a kick off.
