Quinteros FC's Rodolfo Luzaide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Moreno in the 37th minute of play. Thiago Almada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Luzaide having to interfere. When Samuel Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Barcelona de Ezeiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Moreno couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Thiago Almada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Luzaide, 9-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
