The supporters of Club Sportivo Italiano booed when MURO DE PIEDRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Gagriel in the 27th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Arturo Ardines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Basilio Araoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportivo Italiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MURO DE PIEDRA the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aitor Huenul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Higinio Aztore managed to get in a good position for a shot. MURO DE PIEDRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Aztore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Ardines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Masao Koriotto, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Club Sportivo Italiano's Arturo Ardines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Bakar in the 73rd minute of play. During the 76th minute of the match Basilio Araoz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent.
