Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a defensive mix-up in Carrilobo's zone, Hugon Sebzda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Ranolfo came out of the goal and Hugon Sebzda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Bikendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ranolfo having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Cayetano Medero made a precise shot to the right of Victor Ranolfo. Carrilobo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Cayetano Medero notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carrilobo's Victor Ranolfo. Victor Ranolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the game, The Diablos Futbol Banda's Cayetano Medero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Ranolfo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Prudencio Bikendi took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Ranolfo. Victor Ranolfo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 31 minutes into the match, Carrilobo's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Bikendi came free, but Victor Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Carrilobo defense, Lars Jereminsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Ranolfo. The Carrilobo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Ranolfo should have stopped the shot. If Cayetano Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, The Diablos Futbol Banda's Ezequiel Arruda got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes The Diablos Futbol Banda got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Medero. After the first half The Diablos Futbol Banda were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Diablos Futbol Banda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
