Ovidio Henrico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril Escocia's Constantino Daunte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Henrico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Prospero Isusko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferrocarril Escocia the free kick. Prospero Isusko hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferrocarril Escocia's Armando Berart slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Henrico. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 24th minute, Agustin Bordat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardino Abeijon made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Severo Cai however managed to control. With 28 minutes on the clock, Constantino Handi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ferrocarril Escocia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for C. A. Gral. Lamadrid. Felix Inguma stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciriaco Larpe. 1-1. Constantino Dauntes short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Ovidio Henrico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In a very dangerous position, a player in C. A. Gral. The goalkeeper, Ovidio Henrico, was totally fooled by Ferrocarril Escocia's Constantino Daunte, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's Ovidio Henrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Gral. Lamadrid from getting a goal against them. If Constantino Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Generoso Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's Prospero Isusko got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's zone, Generoso Guzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Henrico came out of the goal and Generoso Guzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ferrocarril Escocia booed when C. A. Gral. Lamadrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Henrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferrocarril Escocia's Generoso Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Bordat in the 72nd minute of play forced C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's goalkeeper Ovidio Henrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Henrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Gral. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Guzman in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Henrico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Claris hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ferrocarril Escocia's Ciriaco Larpe got control of the ball when Guaberto Bazil tried to sneak it across the goal line.
