The referee gave Eloy Rufio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, CAH's Higinio Baladi got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Dante Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. In the 97th minute, Elvio Ekhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Navia CSyD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
