The Chacarita Jrs fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Chacarita Jrs's Epifanio Bertran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Epifanio Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Epifanio Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Braniște saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihnea Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Bertran, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The Pitt Steeler players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chacarita Jrs were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Txaran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Pitt Steeler fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chacarita Jrs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
