The supporters of CAH booed when Chiche y Anto en el Cielo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eloy Rufio fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAH's protests and gave Eloy Rufio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Eloy Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Benito Castulo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Francisco Bikendi's late challenge caught a Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Bikendi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Francisco Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Otsando was the one to do the kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Eloy Rufio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eloy Rufio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 52nd match minute, CAH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Rufio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Moises Senio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Senio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56thth minute of the game Patricio Otsando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAH's Candido Lastur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, CAH's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Otsando came free, but Candido Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Nel was a little too slow when Higinio Baladi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-1. Candido Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Chiche y Anto en el Cielo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
