Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Erdiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Erdiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 11 minutes of play, DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Daniel Erdiano made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Francesco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clemente Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Erdiano in the 14th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Anacleto Eguen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Daniel Erdiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Talat Başdemir scored 0-7 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Francesco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute, Daniel Erdiano made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Francesco. Elena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Olentzaro to make the kick off. Daniel Erdiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Francesco having to interfere. Clemente Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Erdiano in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Daniel Erdiano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clemente Francesco, passed just outside the right post. Anacleto Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Clemente Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Elena defense, Talat Başdemir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Francesco. The Elena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Francesco should have stopped the shot. Clemente Francesco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Eguen in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Elena getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bernardino Tonete hit a great ball. DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Talat Başdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes, Armando Feliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elena and the DEPORTIVO CHINCHI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elena's Armando Feliz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 98th minute Daniel Erdiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
