Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pueblo's Xerardo Baltanas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerardo Baltanas in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Fliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sanagasta AFC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the game, Sanagasta AFC's Joel Sugar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Guillelmus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz got control of the ball when Fikri Özenli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Joel Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes Pueblo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Candido Aztore who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Sanagasta AFC's Joel Sugar to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Guillelmus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gustavo Guillelmus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Sugar's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Pueblo's Gustavo Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Sugar in the 28th minute of play. Sanagasta AFC's Joel Sugar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Guillelmus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fikri Özenli kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Pueblo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tibalt Pedrueza hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Sugar came free, but Gustavo Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Gualterio Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Mačković came free, but Gustavo Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dionisio Sanchez fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pueblo's protests and gave Dionisio Sanchez a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Pueblo got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Sanchez. A collision led to Sanagasta AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Toni Mačković hit a great ball. When Agustin Bobadilla came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Pueblo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Bobadilla couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Guillelmus having to interfere. After the first half Sanagasta AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Sugar to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Peio got free with Gustavo Guillelmus in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Pueblo's Gustavo Guillelmus got control of the ball when Gualterio Peio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pueblo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ildefonso Maria hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Sugar came free, but Gustavo Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sanagasta AFC's Joel Sugar in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pueblo's goalie prevented a goal. Luciano Fliz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Pueblo's Xerardo Baltanas. But to his dismay, Xerardo Baltanas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Sanagasta AFC booed when Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Maria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xerardo Baltanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sanagasta AFC's zone, Xerardo Baltanas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Fliz came out of the goal and Xerardo Baltanas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Peio's late challenge caught a Pueblo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Peio helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Sanagasta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Peio. Luciano Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerardo Baltanas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes, Sanagasta AFC's Candido Aztore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Guillelmus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sanagasta AFC reached it. The Sanagasta AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sanagasta AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
