Geronimo Quintun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Meo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Maule came free, but Geronimo Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Meo F.C's Manuel Mergildo got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Elena's zone, Rolando Adrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Francesco came out of the goal and Rolando Adrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Dalmacio Olentzaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Roberto Maldonado fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meo F.C's protests and gave Roberto Maldonado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Elena booed when Meo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Dalmacio Olentzaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Quintun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute Edelmiro Gonchan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Quintun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Meo F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Silban was the one to do the kick off. Geronimo Quintun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Dominic in the 51st minute of the match. Geronimo Quintun was a little too slow when Claudio Maule got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-4. Rolando Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Clemente Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Francesco having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Dalmacio Olentzaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Clemente Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Quinito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Elena players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
