An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Maule in the 29th minute of play forced Angastaco AFC's goalkeeper Leon Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Olentzaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Tajo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Clemente Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benno Volberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elena's Clemente Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Volberg in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Sonny Mathis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudio Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The Elena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Francesco should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Angastaco AFC booed when Elena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Sonny Mathis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elena's Clemente Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Olentzaro in the 88th minute of play forced Angastaco AFC's goalkeeper Leon Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benno Volberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angastaco AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
