Rolando Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Pedroso having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Meo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Mergildo. 11 minutes into the match, Meo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Videl came free, but Geronimo Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Damaso Munio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Quintun was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Meo F.C defense, Damaso Munio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Quintun. The Meo F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Quintun should have stopped the shot. Daniel Erdiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talat Başdemir in the 24th minute of play forced Meo F.C's goalkeeper Geronimo Quintun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talat Başdemir struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Geronimo Quintun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEPORTIVO CHINCHI. Leonides Diegotxe charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonides Diegotxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Meo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Diegotxe. A collision led to DEPORTIVO CHINCHI getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Anacleto Eguen hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Talat Başdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Talat Başdemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Anacleto Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Geronimo Quintun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Anacleto Eguen, in the 57th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for DEPORTIVO CHINCHI. The supporters of DEPORTIVO CHINCHI booed when Meo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Munio in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of DEPORTIVO CHINCHI booed when Meo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Meo F.C's Geronimo Quintun got control of the ball when Talat Başdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Benito Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Meo F.C's zone, Talat Başdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Quintun came out of the goal and Talat Başdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Meo F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DEPORTIVO CHINCHI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
