The audience was convinced that Joel Sugar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Guillelmus was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The supporters of Sanagasta AFC booed when Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Maria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fikri Özenli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pueblo's Ildefonso Maria got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Candido Aztore came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sanagasta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Aztore couldn't finish the play. Pueblo's Gustavo Guillelmus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Pueblo from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Ailín Willson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mačković in the 36th minute of play forced Pueblo's goalkeeper Gustavo Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Guillelmus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ailín Willson in the 37th minute. Sanagasta AFC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Pueblo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Candido Aztore took the corner. Xerardo Baltanas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerardo Baltanas in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Fliz saved Sanagasta AFC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gustavo Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Luciano Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerardo Baltanas in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Bonifacio Olo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Guillelmus skillfully saved the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Peio came free, but Gustavo Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sanagasta AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Candido Aztore in the 63rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Ailín Willson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gustavo Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Sugar in the 65th minute of play. When Ildefonso Maria fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pueblo's protests and gave Ildefonso Maria a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pueblo's Ildefonso Maria got a free kick in the 66th minute. Sanagasta AFC's Candido Aztore got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Peio in the 69th minute of play. Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sanagasta AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Joel Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanagasta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Sugar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Guillelmus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Sugar in the 77th minute of the match. Gualterio Peio struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gustavo Guillelmus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanagasta AFC. 85 minutes into the match, Pueblo's Xerardo Baltanas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Fliz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dionisio Sanchez lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. If Joel Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
