Fikri Özenli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute, Xerardo Baltanas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pueblo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 11th match minute, Tolosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Manuel Irazabal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Jose Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tolosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Xerardo Baltanas put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Cerilo. A collision led to Pueblo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Samuel Bittor hit a great ball. Jose Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Guillelmus having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Xerardo Baltanas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tolosa's Isidoro Cerilo. Isidoro Cerilo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerardo Baltanas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Cerilo saved Tolosa from getting behind. Tiburcio Francis shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 48thth minute of the game Xerardo Baltanas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tolosa's Isidoro Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 49 minutes Tolosa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dionisio Sanchez who took care of the corner kick. Pueblo's Dionisio Sanchez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isidoro Cerilo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Tolosa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pueblo were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xerardo Baltanas to make the kick off. Juan Manuel Irazabal kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Xerardo Baltanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolosa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Xerardo Baltanas 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Tolosa's Segundo Frutos got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Tolosa's Isidoro Cerilo got control of the ball when Xerardo Baltanas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Osoitz in the 95th minute of play forced Pueblo's goalkeeper Gustavo Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pueblo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
