German Lizbeth came out of the goal and Daniel Erdiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Talat Başdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Lizbeth having to interfere. German Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talat Başdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Lizbeth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Erdiano in the 10th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, DEPORTIVO CHINCHI's Daniel Erdiano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Lizbeth was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Newells's zone, Gustavo Firme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Lizbeth came out of the goal and Gustavo Firme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Anacleto Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Lizbeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Newells getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marcos Pereyra hit a great ball. In the 26th match minute, DEPORTIVO CHINCHI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Eguen to maneuver through the defense. When Santiago Perrando came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Newells fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Perrando couldn't finish the play. Anacleto Eguen struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. German Lizbeth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEPORTIVO CHINCHI. The supporters of Newells booed when DEPORTIVO CHINCHI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Erdiano was the one to do the kick off. Newells's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Anacleto Eguen scored to the left of an out of position German Lizbeth, making the score, 0-3. In the 57th match minute, DEPORTIVO CHINCHI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Liher to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Santiago Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Daniel Erdiano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of German Lizbeth. Daniel Erdiano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 76th minute, Anacleto Eguen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Anacleto Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. German Lizbeth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of DEPORTIVO CHINCHI booed when Newells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 93rd minute, Arnulfo Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to DEPORTIVO CHINCHI getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Damaso Munio hit a great ball. When Julio Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Newells fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Ortzi couldn't finish the play.
