Igarzábal AFC's Jairo Clodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Min in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Emilio Mantzio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Clodio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Igarzábal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Min came free, but Jairo Clodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Igarzábal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Gentza to maneuver through the defense. When Emilio Mantzio came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Los Santos de Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Mantzio couldn't finish the play. Marcelino Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jairo Clodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Igarzábal AFC's Isidoro Evangelista got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 28th minute, when Los Santos de Almagro's Jesus Gagriel after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jairo Clodio in Igarzábal AFC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. When Los Santos de Almagro's Marcelino Min in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Igarzábal AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Jairo Clodio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Min in the 32nd minute. The Los Santos de Almagro fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Los Santos de Almagro's Marcelino Min looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcelino Min recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Los Santos de Almagro's Emilio Mantzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Clodio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Jairo Clodio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelino Min showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 42 minute of play. Tomás Firman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Marcelino Min received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jairo Clodio came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelino Min slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Mero to make the kick off. Emilio Mantzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Min in the 64th minute of the match. Emilio Mantzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Clodio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. When Rogelio Peruxu fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Igarzábal AFC's protests and gave Rogelio Peruxu a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Peruxu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Emilio Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Santos de Almagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Mantzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Min in the 71st minute of play forced Igarzábal AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Clodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Honorato Ekain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Igarzábal AFC and the Los Santos de Almagro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Santos de Almagro booed when Igarzábal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Peruxu got free with Roger Crane in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Emilio Mantzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Clodio. Igarzábal AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Mantzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A collision led to Igarzábal AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tomás Firman hit a great ball. When Marcelino Min came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Los Santos de Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Min couldn't finish the play. Jairo Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Mantzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Igarzábal AFC defense, Emilio Mantzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Clodio. The Igarzábal AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Clodio should have stopped the shot. Marcelino Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Clodio having to interfere. Los Santos de Almagro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
