Roger Crane made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Filomeno Cristos sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Cristos got free with Roger Crane in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Perico's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Procopio came free, but Rachid Fergani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Quinton hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Perico's Hipolito Misael tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perico's goalkeeper Rachid Fergani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perico's Rachid Fergani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gagriel in the 19th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Juan Jakue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perico and the Los Santos de Almagro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Perico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Jakue to maneuver through the defense. With 26 minutes on the clock, Roberto Alvarez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Perico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Sixto Sol kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Hipolito Misael struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Roger Crane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perico. In the 35th minute Guillermo Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Fergani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lambis Kazantzakoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Perico's Vicente Ovando got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jesus Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Filomeno Cristos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Crane having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Victorio Modestio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rachid Fergani. Perico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Modestio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Los Santos de Almagro's Sixto Sol got a free kick in the 59th minute. Rachid Fergani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Modestio went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Hipolito Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Perico fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Perico's Hipolito Misael looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hipolito Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes Perico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lambis Kazantzakoglou who took care of the corner kick. Los Santos de Almagro's Lambis Kazantzakoglou was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rachid Fergani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Rachid Fergani managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Los Santos de Almagro's Victorio Modestio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roger Crane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Misael in the 86th minute of the match. Victorio Modestio in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rachid Fergani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 92nd minute, Los Santos de Almagro's Victorio Modestio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Los Santos de Almagro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
