When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eugenio Urtungo sped through Igarzábal AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jairo Clodio. Efrain Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Raymon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Peruxu in the 14th minute. When 任明雄 fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CONGRESOFIDEOF.C's protests and gave 任明雄 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Igarzábal AFC booed when CONGRESOFIDEOF.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. 任明雄 didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Medero in the 21st minute of play forced Igarzábal AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Clodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Eugenio Urtungo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jairo Clodio. Jairo Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Urtungo in the 27th minute of play. The CONGRESOFIDEOF.C fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when CONGRESOFIDEOF.C's Eugenio Urtungo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CONGRESOFIDEOF.C were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Igarzábal AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nunez Chano took the corner. The corner ended in Froilan Truylos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Igarzábal AFC's Jairo Clodio did a great save. 36 minutes into the game, Faustino Gentza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Igarzábal AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CONGRESOFIDEOF.C the free kick. In the 36th minute, Faustino Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Clodio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Urtungo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Clodio saved Igarzábal AFC from getting behind. When Efrain Medero came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the CONGRESOFIDEOF.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Medero couldn't finish the play. If Teo Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Mero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igarzábal AFC's Jairo Clodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Medero in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, CONGRESOFIDEOF.C's Eugenio Urtungo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Eugenio Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Clodio having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Eugenio Urtungo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CONGRESOFIDEOF.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Eugenio Urtungo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Efrain Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Eugenio Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Rogelio Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igarzábal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Peruxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Urtungo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Clodio saved Igarzábal AFC from getting behind. Efrain Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jairo Clodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Urtungo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Clodio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenio Urtungo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, 任明雄 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Clodio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After some careless play in the Igarzábal AFC defense, Eugenio Urtungo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Clodio. The Igarzábal AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Clodio should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes in the game, Efrain Medero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jairo Clodio having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Teo Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CONGRESOFIDEOF.C played a much better game than Igarzábal AFC and deserved their victory. The Igarzábal AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
