The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Perico's goalkeeper Rachid Fergani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Osoitz. Rachid Fergani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Chanilao FC's Marco Jorrin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rachid Fergani. In the 19th match minute, Chanilao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Fergani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Osoitz in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Amado Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chanilao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Paulino Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Dhari Al Ghanem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chanilao FC the free kick. Dhari Al Ghanem hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Celedonio Egun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rachid Fergani. Perico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Gaudencio Osoitz came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Chanilao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Osoitz couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Chanilao FC's Amado Urki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Fergani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filomeno Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Rachid Fergani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Jorrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Hipolito Misael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbano Bartoli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rachid Fergani firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Misael to strike the kick off in the second half. Perico's Rachid Fergani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Egun in the 51st minute of play. Celedonio Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Rachid Fergani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Perico getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Silverio Brun hit a great ball. Amado Urki struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rachid Fergani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chanilao FC. Urbano Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rachid Fergani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Fergani having to interfere. Cristobal Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Misael in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chanilao FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hipolito Misael was slow to take the kick. During this time Perico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Filomeno Cristos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chanilao FC's Cristobal Amor did a great save. Perico's Rachid Fergani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Bartoli in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Perico's Juan Jakue got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Chanilao FC's Amado Urki in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rachid Fergani guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of Perico booed when Chanilao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Urki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Chanilao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Urki to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes, Juan Jakue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perico and the Chanilao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chanilao FC fully deserved thier win.
