The supporters of Pelotillehue Futbol Club booed when Gianino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pelotillehue Futbol Club's Timoteo Elodio got control of the ball when Edgardo Arotza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gianino's Isaac Errapel got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ismael Mogel fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelotillehue Futbol Club's protests and gave Ismael Mogel a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Arotza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timoteo Elodio was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Edgardo Arotza had several of the Pelotillehue Futbol Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Timoteo Elodio as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Gianino's Edgardo Arotza in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pelotillehue Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Pelotillehue Futbol Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ismael Mogel hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, one of Pelotillehue Futbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pelotillehue Futbol Club. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaac Errapel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timoteo Elodio. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. Pelotillehue Futbol Club's Timoteo Elodio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Pelotillehue Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Frederico to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Pelotillehue Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Quexal to maneuver through the defense. After 55 minutes, Edgardo Arotza made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pelotillehue Futbol Club's Timoteo Elodio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Pelotillehue Futbol Club's zone, Edgardo Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Elodio came out of the goal and Edgardo Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Errapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timoteo Elodio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Arotza's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 77th minute, Siro Kaiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victorio Maurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Frederico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Pablo Marz made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Pelotillehue Futbol Club's Ernesto Pacho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pablo Marz. Pablo Marz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. After a rather tough play, Gianino's Isaac Errapel got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Pelotillehue Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Errapel came free, but Timoteo Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
