In the 7th minute, VenturaJr's Cayetano Gipuzkoa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cayetano Gipuzkoa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VenturaJr protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cayetano Gipuzkoa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 6 minutes into the game, one of VenturaJr:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 9 played minutes, when Petronila:s Honorato Manny calmly waited for VenturaJr:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Osvaldo Osorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Poz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rene Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Montrell in the 25th minute of play forced VenturaJr's goalkeeper Rene Froylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Froylan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Fidel Kepa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petronila's protests and gave Fidel Kepa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Petronila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Kepa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Patricio Poz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Froylan was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Patricio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Petronila had won after a very even match.
