Iker Xabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iker Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunner Lewerckhusen in the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Paulino Artal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atucha and the Corsarios del Sur players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Corsarios del Sur. Marco Lluciano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iker Xabel. 0-4. 29 minutes into the game, Corsarios del Sur's Urban Tunberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Xabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Urban Tunberg struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Iker Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corsarios del Sur. If Leonardo Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Gentza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Iker Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Tunberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Osvaldo Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Corsarios del Sur's Marco Lluciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Xabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, Corsarios del Sur's Urban Tunberg made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Xabel was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Gentza in the 47th minute of play forced Atucha's goalkeeper Iker Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Corsarios del Sur were awarded a corner. Marco Lluciano went to the cornerflag to take it. The Atucha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corsarios del Sur were winning 0-6.

Urban Tunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Vasile Godeanu took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Iker Xabel to make any attempt to save it. Iker Xabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urban Tunberg went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Urban Tunberg scored 0-9 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Xabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonardo Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Iker Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Atucha booed when Corsarios del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes, Atucha's Osvaldo Garaile shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casimiro Vachon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atucha reached it. If Vasile Godeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iker Xabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunner Lewerckhusen went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Urban Tunberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Iker Xabel made a huge save. Atucha's Iker Xabel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Atucha from getting a goal against them. Vasile Godeanu took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Xabel. Iker Xabel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Leonardo Gentza came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iker Xabel could save by the left post. Leonardo Gentza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Xabel having to make a save. When Hipolito Gentza fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atucha's protests and gave Hipolito Gentza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Hipolito Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Urban Tunberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corsarios del Sur played a much better game than Atucha and deserved their victory. The Atucha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
